About The Position

AMLI Residential is hiring a Groundskeeper-Custodian for its luxury apartment community in Marina del Rey. This position works a stable day-shift schedule of 40 hours per week, with no night shifts. The employee helps maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property, including common areas, vacant and model apartments, and basic grounds. The role may also involve supporting the team during emergencies and occasional overtime.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment such as mops, vacuums, carpet cleaners, and scrubbers.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally more.
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Prior custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the leasing office, restrooms, hallways, stairways, elevators, amenities, laundry rooms, parking garage, and other common areas.
• Remove trash and recycling daily.
• Help prepare vacant and model apartments for move-ins and tours.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and maintain light fixtures.
• Keep the community fresh, clean, and presentable.
• Care for and inventory janitorial supplies and equipment, and use them properly.
• Perform basic grounds care, including sweeping, picking up trash, and watering planters.
• Assist with move-out cleanings, moving bulky items, and property inspections.
• Support the team during emergencies such as floods, fires, or weather-related events, and help with occasional overtime needs.
