About The Position

This position performs routine custodial and grounds maintenance duties to maintain clean, safe, and well-kept interior and exterior facilities in accordance with established procedures and company standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The role includes cleaning high-traffic building areas and maintaining grounds. The position follows established work routines, cleaning procedures, and safety practices for chemical cleaners and power equipment. The minimum pay rate is $16.25. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of job-related experience.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving furniture.
Ability to follow basic work routines.
Ability to communicate.
Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.

Responsibilities

Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic building areas designated by the supervisor.
Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, and soap.
Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving and rearranging furniture.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Keep cleaning supplies in a safe, secure area.
Complete the standardized cleaning process according to company standards.
Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment.
Attend regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
Follow basic work routines and standards and use established procedures to solve straightforward problems.
Cut grass using walking-type or riding mowers weighing less than 2,000 pounds.
Trim hedges and edge around walks, flower beds, and wells using hedge trimmers, clippers, and edging tools.
Prune shrubs and trees to shape them and improve growth using shears and other hand tools.
Spray lawns, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer or insecticide.
Plant grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
Water lawns and shrubs during dry periods using a hose or sprinkler system.
Pick up and dispose of leaves, paper, and other litter.
May clean comfort stations, offices, workshop areas, and parking lots by sweeping, washing, mopping, and polishing.
Perform other duties as assigned.
