About The Position

Maintains the office building and manufacturing area in a clean and orderly condition, performing cleaning and building maintenance duties both inside and outside the facility. The role involves routine, light manual cleaning work in offices, halls, and restrooms, using equipment such as floor sweepers, polishers, vacuum cleaners, and dusters. Moderate physical effort is required.

The employee is expected to follow department and company safety rules, Dairy Farmers of America GMPs, and corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements. This is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

• Moderate physical effort is required.
• Work involves both the inside and outside of the plant.
• Adherence to department and company safety rules.
• Ability to perform routine, light manual cleaning work in offices, halls, and restrooms.
• Follow Dairy Farmers of America GMPs and work consistently with corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Remove refuse from the interior of the plant and place it in containers outside the plant.
• Use chemicals to sanitize and clean the facility.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in plant restrooms.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the plant exterior.
• Assist with office equipment moves and meeting setups as needed or requested.
• Use proper lifting techniques when moving furniture and large items to avoid injury.
• Clean windows, vents, fixtures, walkways, and steps daily.
• Handle unscheduled duties as requested.
• Maintain an accurate inventory and replenish cleaning supplies and paper products in the break room and restrooms.
• Follow DFA Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures, and report nonconformities.
• Follow DFA Safety policies and procedures, and report nonconformities and safety concerns.
• Follow DFA GMP policies and procedures and applicable corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements.
• Perform duties safely and keep self and equipment sanitary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
