About The Position

NALS Apartment Homes is seeking a Groundskeeper to support the day-to-day upkeep of Towne Square Apartment Homes. The role includes maintaining the community grounds and common areas, caring for pools and spas, keeping work areas and supplies organized, and assisting with vacant-apartment turns. Requirements

Possess skills relating to grounds maintenance and pool maintenance job functions.
A valid driver's license and current auto insurance may be required.
Work inside and outside in all types of weather.
Be able to lift and work with heavy equipment.
Meet medium-to-heavy work demands, including prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 100 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds.
Have good hand-eye coordination, including the ability to ascend and descend ladders and stairs and perform repetitive or continuous tasks according to set procedures and sequences.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain property grounds daily.
Remove trash and debris from all common areas.
Clean and maintain barbecue grills, if applicable.
Clean and maintain pools and spas, including chemical testing and furniture cleanliness.
Clean and maintain mail room and laundry room areas, if applicable.
Keep workplace and maintenance shop areas clean and supplies and tools organized.
Assist with turning vacant apartments, including tasks involving painting, locks, light bulbs, garbage disposals, drawers, doors, smoke detectors, blinds, windows, drains, faucets, and toilets.
Perform additional duties, responsibilities, or projects as assigned.
Maintain open communication with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
