About The Position

Jamestown Community College is hiring a full-time Groundskeeper/Custodian to perform routine cleaning and groundskeeping on an assigned campus as needed. The position also performs routine building-cleaning tasks and assists with minor maintenance duties. Work follows established routines under general supervision and involves strenuous manual labor and operating heavy landscaping and cleaning equipment. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of groundskeeping and cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Manual dexterity.
• Valid and current driver’s license.
• Driving record must meet the standards of the college’s liability insurance carrier, as confirmed by a DMV check.
