About The Position

As a Ground Ramp Agent, you provide efficient ground support services in an outdoor, fast-paced aviation environment to help flights run on time. Alliance Ground International (AGI) is an aviation services company operating in more than 50 cities across North America, employing over 3,000 people and servicing nearly 200 airline customers daily. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance, including a 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check.
• Be able to lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) regularly.
• Be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
• Frequently and for extended periods, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop.
• Work outside in all types of weather and around jet and machinery noises.
• Be flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guide inbound and outbound airplanes to and from the gate.
• Transport, load, and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail.
• Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies.
• Operate heavy equipment to move luggage and cargo, tow planes between gates, and refill water tanks and lavatories.
• Be on time, be prepared, and work safely.
