About The Position

As a Ramp Agent at AGI, you will provide efficient ground support services to help ensure flights run on time. AGI is an aviation services company operating in more than 50 cities across North America, employing over 3,000 people and servicing nearly 200 airline customers every day. The role involves guiding aircraft, handling baggage and cargo, preparing aircraft cabins between flights, and operating equipment to support aircraft and airport operations. It requires outdoor work in varied weather and a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance, including a 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check.
• Be able to lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) regularly.
• Be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
• Be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
• Be able to work outside in all types of weather and around jet and machinery noises.
• Be flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guide inbound and outbound airplanes to and from the gate.
• Transport, load, and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail.
• Clean passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies.
• Operate heavy equipment to move luggage and cargo, tow planes between gates, and refill water tanks and lavatories.
• Be on time, prepared, and safe.
