About The Position

The Greg's on the Green Attendant provides attentive, personalized hospitality to golfers at the Golf Airstream and supports a high-quality golf guest experience. The role includes welcoming golfers, anticipating their needs, providing complimentary snacks and nonalcoholic refreshments, and supporting tournaments and other golf events. The attendant maintains the Airstream’s readiness, presentation, inventory, and cleanliness; sells approved beverage products; processes purchases accurately; and follows responsible alcohol service, cash-handling, safety, sanitation, and resort policies. The position works with Golf Operations leadership and the Food & Beverage Department, communicates guest feedback and operational needs, and may work across multiple locations or departments based on operational needs.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and quick-service operations.
Strong guest service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests and team members.
Ability to remember, describe, and promote menu items.
Ability to operate POS systems and keyboards efficiently.
Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
Must obtain and maintain required licenses or certifications, as applicable.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to walk or stand to a significant degree and to reach, handle, feel, talk, hear, and see.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in a coffee shop, fast-casual, or high-volume guest service environment preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome and engage golfers at the Airstream, anticipate guest needs, and provide personalized hospitality.
Provide complimentary food, snacks, nonalcoholic beverages, and refreshments as part of golf guest amenities.
Stay aware of golf activity, tee times, tournaments, and special events to anticipate service needs and guest volume.
Build positive relationships with members and resort guests, recognizing preferences and delivering personalized service.
Support golf tournaments, member outings, and special events with hospitality and refreshment services.
Set up and maintain the daily presentation, organization, and operational readiness of the Golf Airstream.
Ensure complimentary amenities are available, properly presented, and replenished during operating hours.
Maintain appropriate amenity inventory and coordinate replenishment based on participation and anticipated demand.
Keep the Airstream and surrounding guest areas clean, organized, and consistent with Golf Department standards.
Coordinate with Golf Operations leadership about schedules, service expectations, guest feedback, and operational needs.
Monitor amenity consumption and assist with managing costs associated with the golfer experience.
Facilitate sales of beer, wine, spirits, and other approved beverages to golfers.
Process purchases accurately through designated POS systems and follow financial and cash-handling procedures.
Maintain presentation, availability, and inventory controls for retail beverages.
Comply with applicable alcohol regulations, responsible service requirements, and resort policies.
Coordinate with the Food & Beverage Department about beverage availability, replenishment, and service standards.
Contribute to Golf Department guest satisfaction and service performance goals.
Communicate guest preferences, concerns, and service improvement opportunities to Golf Operations leadership.
Help maintain a consistent hospitality experience across golf facilities and follow resort safety, sanitation, operational, and guest service standards.
Perform additional guest service responsibilities assigned by Golf Operations management.
Work across multiple locations, departments, or venues as operational needs require.
