About The Position

The Green Room at Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a dependable, energetic, hospitality-driven Barback. The role supports bartenders and the service team by keeping the bar prepared, organized, stocked, and guest-ready, helping service run smoothly during both regular and high-volume periods. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, team-oriented, and proactive about identifying and completing needed tasks. The Barback supports bar operations through stocking and replenishment, cleaning and sanitation, garnish and beverage preparation, delivery handling, inventory communication, and opening, closing, and side-work duties. The role also supports special events and helps maintain Hotel Bardo’s polished, welcoming atmosphere.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality experience is preferred.
Interest in beverage operations and continued growth within hospitality.

Responsibilities

Support bartenders during service by stocking beer, wine, spirits, mixers, glassware, ice, and other supplies.
Keep bar, storage, and service areas clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready.
Replenish ice, garnishes, syrups, and beverage ingredients throughout service.
Collect and wash glassware, bar tools, and service equipment while maintaining sanitation standards.
Prepare garnishes and assist with beverage preparation according to established standards.
Assist with receiving, organizing, and properly storing beverage and supply deliveries.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate product and supply needs proactively.
Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities.
Remove trash, recycling, and empty containers promptly and discreetly.
Work with bartenders, servers, culinary team members, and leadership to keep service running smoothly.
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
Support special events and high-volume service periods as needed.
Help maintain the polished, welcoming atmosphere expected throughout Hotel Bardo.
