About The Position

Primanti Bros. is hiring a Greeter / To-Go Specialist to create a welcoming first impression and help maintain smooth, efficient restaurant flow. The role greets guests (“Fans”) in person and by phone, manages seating and wait flow, and provides fast, hospitable service for takeout and call-in orders. It also supports restaurant operations by assisting guests with specific needs, running food, cleaning tables, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Requirements

Ability to read and write in English.
Good communication skills; friendly and people-oriented.
Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, and able to multitask.
Basic math skills.
Ability to operate a POS system for transactions.
Ability to stand for 100% of the shift.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and wipe frequently.
Ability to deliver food and beverages and clear tables, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain a cheerful, courteous disposition and a neat, clean, professional image.
Welcome each guest warmly, including opening the door whenever possible.
Answer the phone using the correct greeting within three rings.
Handle takeout and call-in orders, enter them into the register, and package them in appropriate containers.
Educate guests about retail items and keep greeting station and retail areas stocked.
Provide an exceptional takeout experience, including delivering food to guests in the restaurant parking lot as needed.
Seat guests promptly at a comfortable table or booth while following the floor chart.
Use the wait management system to manage restaurant flow while guests are waiting.
Assist guests with small children by providing items such as a Kid’s Pack, highchair, sling, or booster, and respond to other requests that would make them more comfortable.
Check restrooms for cleanliness and supplies every 20 minutes.
Maintain proficient knowledge of the menu.
Run food from the Expo area and pre-bus tables as needed.
Bus and clean tables and booths as needed.
Communicate guest questions or concerns to Coaches as appropriate.
Balance the cash drawer as needed.
Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures throughout the shift.
Complete opening, shift-change, and closing checklists, as well as weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
Perform other duties as requested by a Coach.
