About The Position

Greeters make the first great impression on Fans and help control the smooth, efficient flow of the restaurant. They create a welcoming experience at the door and on the phone, while providing fast service and hospitality for To-Go Fans. The role also includes seating guests, supporting families with small children, maintaining the greeting and retail areas, and helping keep the restaurant clean and orderly. Greeters follow safety and sanitation procedures and complete opening, shift-change, closing, and scheduled cleaning tasks. Duties may change, and additional responsibilities may be assigned by a Coach.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Good communication skills; friendly and people-oriented.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, and able to multitask.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to operate a POS system for transactions.
• Ability to stand for 100% of the shift.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and wiping.
• Ability to deliver food and beverages and clear tables, which may require lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a cheerful, courteous disposition and a neat, clean, professional image.
• Greet each Fan warmly, including opening the door whenever possible.
• Answer the phone with the correct greeting within three rings.
• Handle take-out and call-in orders, ring them up, and package them in appropriate containers.
• Educate Fans about retail items and keep greeting and retail areas well stocked.
• Provide an exceptional To-Go experience, including delivering food to Fans in the restaurant parking lot as needed.
• Seat Fans promptly at a comfortable table or booth while following the Floor Chart.
• Use the wait management system to manage restaurant flow when there is a wait.
• Assist Fans with small children by providing items such as a Kid’s Pack, highchair, sling, or booster, and respond to requests that would make them more comfortable.
• Check restrooms for cleanliness and supplies every 20 minutes.
• Maintain proficient knowledge of the menu.
• Run food from the Expo area and pre-bus tables as needed.
• Bus and clean tables and booths as needed.
• Communicate Fan questions or concerns to Coaches as appropriate.
• Balance the cash drawer as needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures throughout the shift.
• Complete opening, shift-change, and closing checklists, as well as weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Perform other duties as needed at a Coach’s request.
