About The Position

The Graphic Designer role is responsible for receiving work orders, prioritizing workload, and communicating with customers and other departments for project information. The designer will provide rough concept options, request revisions, and obtain approval from the Chief Marketing Officer before producing final content. This role also involves outsourcing print production, delivering digital assets, and receiving feedback from the Chief Marketing Officer. The designer will create various forms of content including in-store display signs, digital billboards, newspaper ads, magazine ads, web ads, and email ads, among other duties as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Expert knowledge of latest computer packages Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Expert knowledge of project planning systems
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, & CMS used for graphic design
  • Outstanding communications skills (visual, verbal, and written)
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
  • Lifting up to 10 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 5 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Receive work orders and prioritize workload based on deadline and Chief Marketing Officer decisions.
  • Communicate with customers and other departments for additional information required for a project.
  • Provide rough concept options.
  • Request, revise, and get approval from the Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Proceed with producing the final content.
  • Outsource print production to local production facilities and coordinate delivery and installation of assets.
  • Deliver all digital assets to the teams responsible for posting the creative content.
  • Receive constructive feedback and direction from the Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Create in-store display signs, digital billboards, newspaper ads, magazine ads, hang signs, web ads, email ads, etc.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by management.
