About the position
The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching and identifying grant opportunities that align with the organization's mission. They will write and submit high-quality grant proposals to various funding agencies, while also maintaining a donor database and records. The Grant Writer will collaborate with key stakeholders, develop relationships, and manage multiple projects and priorities. This role reports to the Senior Director and requires strong research, communication, and project management skills. A Bachelor's degree, grant writing experience, and knowledge of funding sources are preferred qualifications.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or relevant experience preferred
- 5+ years of grant writing experience
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Strong research, communication, and publication writing skills
- Critical thinking skills; must be autonomous and self-driven; must be able to work well independently and with others
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable of funding sources, compliance issues, and legal and fiscal policies of funding sources and appropriate government agencies
- Implement the use of technology to assist with grants development and management
- High degree of initiative to find solutions and meet deadlines
- Read, comprehend, interpret, and apply governmental regulations and proposal guidelines
- Work independently, be computer literate, and possess the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Salesforce and Tableau experience preferred

- Anticipated base salary range of ($75,000 - $80,000) with potential bonus eligibility
