About The Position

This is a GTA Hiring Coordinator position in the Florida Department of Revenue’s General Tax Administration Program, Workforce Development – GTA Hiring Team, located in Tallahassee. In consultation with hiring managers, the incumbent ensures accurate job postings on People First and external sources; screens candidate profiles and resumes for compliance with minimum job requirements; coordinates and administers skills verification tests; identifies applicants to interview; and ensures retention records are complete and accurate. The incumbent evaluates recruitment efforts, uses web conference services to communicate with remote team members, and may participate in outreach and recruitment fairs.

Requirements

Nine months of experience related to conducting recruitment and selection activities.
Experience interpreting and applying procedures, rules, or regulations.
Experience writing communications and providing guidance and direction to agency management, employees, or the public.
Experience providing customer service within an office setting.
Experience handling confidential information.

Nice To Haves

Experience conducting recruitment and selection activities within the State Personnel System, including experience with the requisition process in People First.
Experience reviewing or screening employment applications or resumes.
Experience conducting quality reviews of written correspondence.
