The Goodwill Supervisor supports production, retail, and/or Donation Door operations as needed and may serve as the Supervisor in Charge of the entire facility. The role ensures a high level of guest and donor service and consistent enforcement of Easterseals-Goodwill policies, procedures, and established Best Practices. Cross-training is required across all aspects of Goodwill operations. Goodwill sites face changing and unpredictable operational needs, including shifts in donation volume and the need to move goods efficiently through processing and retail. The supervisor is expected to respond to changing priorities, show initiative, and move between assignments as needed. The position develops and motivates the workforce through coaching, feedback, setting an example, and requesting manager action when staff do not meet expectations. The role requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and may involve shifts longer than usual or more than 40 hours per week. Physical requirements include moving independently or with reasonable accommodation, lifting and carrying 20–100 pounds with team lifting or mechanical assistance, standing, stooping, bending, or carrying throughout a shift, and tolerating significant changes in temperature and humidity. A background check is required; criminal convictions do not automatically bar employment.
