The Goodwill Supervisor supports production, retail, and/or Donation Door operations as needed and may serve as the Supervisor in Charge of the entire facility. The role is responsible for maintaining a high level of guest and donor service and ensuring Easterseals-Goodwill policies and procedures are uniformly followed. Cross-training is required across all aspects of Goodwill, and duties are performed according to ESGW Best Practices. Goodwill sites experience changing and unpredictable needs, particularly as donations fluctuate and goods move through processing and retail. The supervisor is expected to respond to those needs, take initiative, and move between assignments as priorities change. The position may supervise Donation Door activities and must assist with retail, production, and/or Donation Door operations. The role includes developing a strong workforce through coaching and feedback, requesting manager action when staff do not meet expectations, and motivating and engaging the team by setting an example. The position requires flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, and may involve shifts longer than 40 hours per week. Applicants must complete a background check; criminal convictions do not automatically bar employment. Easterseals-Goodwill is an equal-opportunity employer and provides assistance or accommodation during the application process upon request.
