About The Position

Syngenta Seeds Field Crops is seeking a Golden Harvest Sales Representative for a territory in central Nebraska, covering Valley, Greely, Sherman, Howard, Buffalo, and Hall counties. The representative will promote Syngenta’s seed portfolio and solutions, develop and manage professional resellers and Seed Advisors, and build trusted customer relationships through consultative selling. The role includes creating demand, supporting effective product placement, and developing territory and advisor business plans to grow sales. The position requires the candidate to live in the territory.

Requirements

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Agriculture; alternatively, a degree in a non-agriculture discipline with a significant farming industry background or commensurate experience.
At least 2 years of sales or sales leadership experience.
Ability to work independently on a virtual team.
Strong customer focus and demonstrated sales and negotiation skills.
Must live in the territory.

Responsibilities

Provide customers access to Syngenta’s broad and diverse portfolio of hybrids.
Recruit, develop, and manage a team of professional resellers.
Use consultative selling, expertise, and customer trust to support sales.
Deliver plans and offers to targeted customers through selected channel partners.
Create customer-level demand and ensure customers understand the products and have further interest in Syngenta solutions.
Coach Seed Advisors on product placement to improve customer satisfaction.
Manage the operational budget, variable selling expenses, and marketing funds within district guidelines.
Develop territory-level and Seed Advisor business plans that identify opportunities, must-wins, and tactics to grow territory sales.
