About The Position

This position is responsible for leading and developing teams, driving financial performance and sales, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role involves coaching associates, managing store operations, overseeing merchandise presentation, and developing action plans to achieve sales and profit goals. It also includes supervising and developing hourly associates through hiring, training, and mentoring, while promoting a culture of belonging and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
  • Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing Profit Loss statements and managing budgets and expenses.
  • Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Builds high-performing teams and creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging.
  • Attracts and retains the best talent, empowers and develops talent, and recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
