About The Position

The Glazier and Flat Glass Technician installs and repairs flat glass products for residential and business customers, helping make properties safe and attractive when glass is damaged. The role combines glass installation and craftsmanship with customer service, including explaining recommended services, identifying additional customer needs, and collecting payment. Requirements

At least one year of glass installation experience.
Knowledge and understanding of basic tools of the trade.
Must be insurable and have a valid driver's license and clean driving record to drive a company vehicle.
Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
Comfort working at heights and using ladders and lifts.
Comfort using mobile technology and digital software.
Prior job experience must be verifiable through reference checks.
Strong customer-service skills and attention to detail, including accurate measurements.

Responsibilities

Install flat glass products for doors, storefronts, windows, showers, mirrors, tabletops, and other glass-related items.
Perform repairs as necessary.
Cut glass to size for custom projects.
Take precise measurements to ensure materials meet specified dimensions.
Evaluate the customer's home or business to determine additional needs.
Explain recommended services to customers and help put them at ease.
