About The Position

Auto Glass Now, a division of Driven Brands, is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a team of Auto Glass Technicians and customer service representatives at a shop location. The manager is accountable for ensuring the team follows Auto Glass Now standards for windshield repair and automotive glass replacement. Relevant experience is valued but not required; paid training is provided at $25 per hour. After training, which takes less than 60 days, candidates may be eligible for Shop Manager promotion opportunities. The posting states that experienced managers can earn $25 per hour or more with bonuses, and that Shop Managers can earn $50,000–$65,000 or more per year after training.

The position combines team leadership and shop operations with customer service and, as needed, hands-on support such as answering customer questions and repairing glass. Managers may work in airport or retail locations or as part of mobile operations. The role requires physical activity, including lifting, moving around vehicles, and working in hot or cold weather when necessary. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a drug test for safety.
• Basic computer operating skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver around vehicles to position oneself safely during installations.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
• Willingness to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in management or leadership; automotive glass experience is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, onboard, and train Glass Technicians and Customer Service Representatives.
• Create employee schedules and submit payroll.
• Control inventory, including conducting End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory.
• Balance registers, close out invoices, and make bank deposits.
• Place product orders and physically restock inventory as needed.
• Understand shop financials, drive results, and use the budget wisely.
• Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
• Support team members by responding to customer questions and repairing glass as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure the team follows Auto Glass Now standards for windshield repair and automotive glass replacement.
