About The Position
Auto Glass Now is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a team of Auto Glass Technicians and Customer Service Representatives at a shop location. The role involves managing daily shop operations and ensuring the team follows Auto Glass Now standards for windshield repair and automotive glass replacement. Paid training is provided at $25 per hour; after training, which takes less than 60 days, candidates may be eligible for promotion to Shop Manager. The posting states that managers can earn $50,000–$65,000 or more per year after training, with experienced managers potentially earning $25 per hour or more plus bonuses. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a drug test for safety.

- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to maneuver around vehicles to position safely during installations.
- Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Nice To Haves
- Leadership or management experience in auto glass, automotive shops, restaurants, retail stores, or other businesses.
- Auto-glass or related trade experience; experience is valued but not required.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new Glass Technicians and Customer Service Representatives.
- Create employee schedules and submit payroll.
- Control inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory.
- Balance registers, close out invoices, and make bank deposits.
- Place product orders and physically restock inventory as necessary.
- Understand the shop’s financials, drive results, and use the budget wisely.
- Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
- Support team members with duties such as responding to customer questions and repairing glass.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Lead the team in following Auto Glass Now standards for windshield repair and automotive glass replacement.
