About The Position

The GIS Analyst performs professional technical work in the development, administration, maintenance, analysis, and support of Parker County's Geographic Information System (GIS). The position develops and maintains accurate geospatial data and mapping resources used by County departments for operations, planning, public safety, addressing, infrastructure, and decision-making. The role works under the general direction of the Information Technology Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Planning, or a closely related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years of progressively responsible GIS experience.
• Experience using ESRI ArcGIS products and working with geospatial databases, mapping, and spatial analysis.
