About The Position

Runners work across hotel departments to ensure guests and associates have what they need when they need it. They may deliver items directly to guest rooms or support housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, the front office, and other areas, helping maintain smooth hotel operations.

The role requires following company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and quality standards, working safely, and presenting oneself and communicating professionally. Runners spend extended periods standing, sitting, or walking and may move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, stairs, and service ramps. They read and visually verify information, inspect tools and equipment, and perform hands-on tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, stairs, and service ramps.
• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print, and visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
