About The Position

Runners work across hotel departments to help ensure guests and associates have what they need when they need it. They may deliver items directly to guest rooms or support housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, the front office, and other areas. By moving around the hotel and assisting where needed, Runners help maintain smooth operations.

The role requires maintaining a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, protecting confidential information, upholding quality standards, and maintaining a professional uniform, appearance, and communication. Runners are expected to perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, stairs, and service ramps.
• Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print, and visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Responsibilities

• Deliver items directly to guests in their rooms.
• Provide support to housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, the front office, and other areas needing assistance.
• Move throughout the hotel to help ensure guests and associates have what they need when they need it.
• Follow company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality, uphold quality standards, and support a safe workplace.
• Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
