About The Position

The Runner operates pallet jack equipment to move pallets and products between locations while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role supports shipping, receiving, warehouse put-away, and order picking, and includes inspecting products and reporting damage. Depending on location, the Runner may also wrap or invert pallets and work with other material-handling equipment. Requirements

Basic math skills may be required, depending on the facility.
Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold-storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry-storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kg; the required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Use pallet jack equipment to move pallets to scheduled shipping doors.
Move pallets from inbound dock doors to locations inside the warehouse for put-away.
Find products requested in work orders.
Change over pallets for picking; visually inspect items for damage or flaws and document and report damage to a lead or supervisor.
Confirm pallets being moved into the warehouse or dock doors are wrapped to the top.
Wrap pallets using a wrap machine, depending on location.
Invert pallets using a pallet inverter, depending on location.
Work with other machinery and material-handling equipment as needed.
