Sitreps•Orlando, FL
•$180,000 - $220,000•Onsite

About The Position

The General Manager will run an established residential air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical business serving homeowners across Central Florida. The role owns the business’s P&L, leadership team, operating standards, and growth trajectory across multiple trades. The company is part of a national, private equity-backed home-services platform that provides shared services, proven playbooks, and capital for growth. Industry experience is not required; the role calls for an operator who has owned results and led teams doing physically demanding work.

Requirements

  • Track record of owning a P&L or running an operation where results were measured, in any industry.
  • Experience leading frontline teams such as crews, technicians, or operators and earning their trust.
  • Self-directed operator's instinct to find solutions, implement them, and verify they work.
  • Financial fluency, including the ability to read a P&L, identify problems, and address them.
  • Bias to action and an ownership mentality rather than a focus on reporting activity.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Orlando area.

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-site or general management experience in home services, field services, or another service business.
  • Prior military leadership followed by civilian operating experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full P&L, including revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and growth targets.
  • Manage the service and install model, including call booking, dispatch efficiency, technician productivity, average ticket, close rate, callbacks, and membership growth.
  • Lead service and install managers, dispatchers, customer service representatives, and field technicians through hiring, coaching, and accountability.
  • Manage technician recruiting, retention, and pay structure in a competitive Florida labor market.
  • Deploy the platform playbook and proven SOPs, and confirm that they are adopted.
  • Oversee licensing, permitting, safety, and fleet across the service area.
  • Forecast, budget, and conduct performance reviews with platform leadership.

Benefits

  • $180,000 to $220,000 base salary, plus an annual bonus and a long-term incentive.
