About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a General Manager for its Advanced Solutions rental facility in Jackson, Mississippi. Advanced Solutions branches rent equipment for fluid solutions, climate control, power generation, compressed air, and site and event services. The General Manager leads the branch team and operations, using EquipmentShare’s proprietary T3 technology and business metrics to support customers and drive branch performance.

Requirements

At least 5 years of rental industry experience.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Results-driven mindset focused on continuous improvement.
Ability to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company and stay educated on EquipmentShare products and services.

Nice To Haves

Rental industry experience in a management role.
Experience in fluid solutions, climate control, power generation, compressed air, or site services.

Responsibilities

Hire, develop, and train employees, and help them improve their skills.
Conduct reviews and performance evaluations to support positive results.
Provide guidance on areas needing improvement or correction and document those efforts.
Manage branch operations to maximize financial success.
Conduct monthly profit and loss reviews to understand business performance and trends, identify improvements, and find future revenue opportunities.
Monitor equipment utilization, underperforming assets, warranty recovery, billed mechanical hours, aged receivables, and customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with the team and management.
Establish reasonable, measurable goals and clearly defined expectations for team members.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures while complying with legal regulations.
