About The Position

A leading multi-brand franchisee with more than 230 locations across eight states is hiring a General Manager to lead a Wendy’s restaurant in the South Hill, Virginia market. The company operates Wendy’s, Taco Bell, and a growing beverage concept, and promotes from within as it expands across Virginia and North Carolina. The General Manager owns the restaurant’s day-to-day operations in a hands-on, in-position leadership role. The position is responsible for guest experience, drive-thru speed, food safety, food and labor costs, team development, and the store-level P&L. The General Manager leads and coaches the team while ensuring the restaurant meets operational goals and Wendy’s brand standards.

Requirements

Restaurant management experience, preferably in quick-service or fast-casual restaurants and ideally in a drive-thru setting.
Ability to build teams, develop people, and hold others accountable.
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, labor management, and cost controls.
Positive, hands-on leadership style and strong communication skills.
Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

Experience in quick-service or fast-casual restaurants.
Experience with drive-thru operations.

Responsibilities

Build, motivate, and develop a team committed to great food and guest service.
Recruit, hire, train, and coach team members and create opportunities for advancement.
Oversee daily restaurant operations, food safety, quality, cleanliness, and Wendy’s brand standards across all dayparts.
Manage labor, food costs, inventory, and key financial metrics to meet restaurant goals and drive quarterly bonus performance.
Lead by example to deliver a positive Wendy’s experience for every guest.
Manage the restaurant’s store-level P&L.
