About The Position

Wendy’s is hiring a General Manager to lead its Pittsburgh restaurant. The General Manager runs the full restaurant operation, overseeing sales, guest satisfaction, food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness. The role includes managing the P&L, labor, food costs, and inventory to meet and exceed targets, while maintaining brand, food safety, and operational standards. The General Manager recruits, hires, trains, and develops crew members and shift leaders, including future managers. This is a visible, hands-on leadership role that involves coaching employees in real time, especially during busy periods, and promptly resolving guest concerns. Compensation is a $60,000–$70,000 base salary based on experience, plus a performance-based quarterly bonus.

Requirements

At least 2 years of restaurant management experience.
Experience managing a P&L and improving sales, labor, and food costs.
People-first leadership style that develops talent and helps keep turnover low.
Strong organizational skills and ability to remain steady under pressure.
Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
ServSafe certification or ability to earn it.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a General Manager or senior assistant manager in quick-service or fast-casual restaurants.
