About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented General Manager for the Hilton Garden Inn Albany Airport. The role is part of an organization focused on hospitality, respectful and authentic service, prioritizing stakeholders, and making a positive impact. The General Manager oversees hotel operations, financial performance, staff, guest concerns, events, property assets, safety, inspections, brand standards, and regulatory compliance. Schulte Hospitality Group describes itself as a third-party management company operating more than 200 locations across 38 states and 3 countries, with properties and restaurants associated with brands including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt, as well as independent, boutique, and lifestyle properties.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Manage budgets and financial plans and control expenditure.
Maintain statistical and financial records.
Set and achieve sales and profit targets.
Recruit, train, and monitor staff.
Plan work schedules for individuals and teams.
Respond appropriately to and resolve guest concerns.
Address problems and troubleshoot.
Ensure events and conferences run smoothly.
Preserve hotel assets, including supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings.
Maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and associates.
Maintain appropriate property inspections as identified by the organization and brand.
Ensure the property meets brand guidelines and expectations for service and all standards.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety requirements, and other statutory regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
