About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented General Manager for Graduate Chapel Hill by Hilton. The General Manager leads hotel operations and staff while advancing the company’s service culture, which emphasizes hospitality, respect, authenticity, stakeholder needs, and positive impact. The role oversees financial performance, staffing, guest service, events, property maintenance and preservation, safety, and compliance with brand standards and applicable regulations. The position also involves other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets and financial plans, and control expenditures.
• Maintain statistical and financial records.
• Set and achieve sales and profit targets.
• Recruit, train, and monitor staff.
• Plan work schedules for individuals and teams.
• Respond appropriately to and resolve guest concerns.
• Address problems and troubleshoot.
• Ensure events and conferences run smoothly.
• Preserve hotel assets, including supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings.
• Maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and associates.
• Ensure appropriate property inspections are conducted as identified by the organization and brand.
• Ensure the property meets brand guidelines and expectations for service and other standards.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety requirements, and other statutory regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
