About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Bartender for Columbia Graduate by Hilton. The role focuses on preparing and serving drinks to guests while maintaining bar cleanliness, monitoring responsible alcohol consumption, and delivering attentive guest service. Requirements

• High school education.
• At least three years of experience in a bartending role.
• Thorough knowledge of alcohol-serving practices and standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
• Ability to exceed guest expectations.
• Detail-oriented.
• Team player.

Nice To Haves

• Bartending certification preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, crushes, additives, soda, and other supplies.
• Keep the bar, glasses, and cutlery clean and sanitized.
• Ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcohol.
• Prepare drink orders according to bar standards and guest preferences.
• Present bar bills and take payment.
• Engage guests and ensure they are satisfied.
• Monitor guests for overconsumption of alcohol and take steps as necessary.
• Lock up and store beverage, food, and other equipment items; deposit cash drops and secure the bank.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
