About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented General Manager for Graduate Chapel Hill by Hilton. The role is part of an organization focused on hospitality, respectful and authentic service, stakeholder needs, and making a positive impact. The General Manager oversees the hotel’s financial performance, staff, guest experience, events, property assets, vendor relationships, safety, inspections, and compliance with brand and statutory standards. The position also performs other duties assigned to meet business objectives.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
Excellent attention to detail.
Financial savvy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

Manage budgets and financial plans and control expenditures.
Maintain statistical and financial records.
Set and achieve sales and profit targets.
Recruit, train, and monitor staff.
Plan work schedules for individuals and teams.
Respond appropriately to and resolve guest concerns.
Address problems and troubleshoot.
Ensure events and conferences run smoothly.
Preserve hotel assets, including supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings.
Maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and associates.
Maintain appropriate property inspections as identified by the organization and brand.
Ensure the property meets brand guidelines, service expectations, and all standards.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety requirements, and other statutory regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
