Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
- Ability to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the described physical duties, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
- Ability to work amid the described environmental exposures, including hot surfaces and equipment, cooler temperatures, food odors, dust, moving parts, and varying outdoor weather.
