General Liability Attorney
About The Position
The Albuquerque, New Mexico office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its General Liability Practice. The role involves insurance defense litigation across all phases, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. The practice represents businesses and individuals, including insured and self-insured clients, in property and personal injury claims. Its work includes catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation cases. Partnership opportunities may be considered for candidates with extensive relevant experience. The firm is also interested in talented developing attorneys with substantive litigation experience in any litigation arena.
Requirements
- Strong research and writing skills.
- At least 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with the stated experience range extending to 15 years.
- Experience across all phases of litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Admission to the New Mexico Bar is required.
- Substantive litigation experience.
Nice To Haves
- Insurance defense experience is preferred.
- Extensive relevant experience may be considered for partnership opportunities.
