General Liability Attorney
About The Position
The Miami, Florida office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its General Liability Practice. The practice has more than 600 attorneys nationwide and represents insured and self-insured businesses and individuals in property and personal injury claims, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation. The role offers the opportunity to work in a growing, collaborative firm. Partnership opportunities may be considered for candidates with extensive relevant experience. Candidates should have strong research and writing skills and experience in insurance defense litigation. The firm is also interested in talented attorneys with substantive litigation experience in other areas.
Requirements
- Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- At least 2 years of experience in litigation, with experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
Nice To Haves
- Insurance defense experience is preferred.
- Extensive relevant experience may be considered for partnership opportunities.
