Hennessy & Roach, P.C., a Midwestern law firm defending employers in Workers’ Compensation and defendants in General Liability matters, is seeking an Attorney for its St. Louis, Missouri office. The role involves defending and litigating general liability claims for employers and insurers through all phases of litigation. The firm handles matters across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
Requirements
- J.D.
- License to practice law in Illinois or Missouri.
- Experience defending general liability claims, defense litigation, or workers’ compensation claims.
Nice To Haves
- Licensure in both Illinois and Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Litigate cases through all phases on behalf of employers and insurers.
- Manage an individual caseload.
- Draft pleadings and conduct legal research as needed.
- Negotiate settlements.
- Attend hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings.
