General Laborer / Installer - Day Shift (GA)
About The Position
The Installer is responsible for the installation of foodservice equipment in accordance with the project specifications in a safe and timely manner. This includes the complete delivery, uncrating, and setting in place of foodservice equipment. The role requires collaboration with plumbers, electricians, and all mechanical trades to resolve issues and adhere to project timelines and installation bids. The position involves examining and testing equipment for defects to ensure proper functioning, following all safety guidelines, and maintaining a clean work area with organized machines and tools. Other related duties may be required and assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience or schooling on general construction and the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand specifications and blueprints.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel & Word).
- Strong analytical, organizational skills.
- Ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently.
- Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Reliable transportation.
- Driving record that meets company insurability standards.
- Ability to travel for overnight stays.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Successful completion of an accredited Technical/Trade School.
- Forklift certification.
Responsibilities
