General Labor Further Processing (November), 2nd Shift, Obion County
About The Position
This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position in a processing facility. Team members may work in any department and are responsible for maintaining a safe work environment while following Tyson policies and procedures. The role is on 2nd shift, approximately 4 PM to 1 AM depending on the department. Employees must be willing to work overtime, some weekends, and holidays as production requires. Pay is $17.05 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift. Benefits begin on the day of hire. Rehires are subject to a 365-day wait from their last termination date, and candidates who have worked for Tyson Foods or its affiliates three or more times are not eligible for rehire.
Requirements
- Be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Some positions require the ability to push, pull, carry, or lift more than 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work in damp, cold or damp, hot environments.
- Ability to use hands and arms above shoulder level.
- Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to climb stairs to and from work areas.
- Willingness to work overtime, some weekends, and holidays as production requires.
- Rehires must wait 365 days from their last termination date.

Responsibilities
- Perform entry-level general labor tasks in any department of the processing facility.

- Wear required personal protective equipment, including ear protection, a hair net, and a beard guard.
- Work overtime, some weekends, and holidays as required by production.
