About The Position
Dentistry Locum Staffing is seeking a General Dentist (DDS/DMD) for a full-time federal contract opportunity supporting the Indian Health Service (IHS) in Gallup, New Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality dental care while serving within a mission-driven federal healthcare setting. This is a 3-year contract opportunity with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, competitive hourly compensation, and malpractice coverage provided. The role involves outpatient dental care on-site only, with no overtime, on-call, or holiday coverage required. Dedicated recruiter and credentialing support are provided, along with travel and lodging assistance when applicable.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Minimum 24 months of professional dental experience, including residency, unless an approved exception applies.
- Current unrestricted dental license from any U.S. state, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
- Current Board Certification or Board Eligible.
- Current BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
