About The Position

Dave & Buster’s Games Support Techs, also known as Midway Techs, repair and maintain the building’s games, simulators, and technical equipment. They assist Guests and maintain ideal player conditions in the Midway while delivering a positive Guest experience. The role also involves stocking and organizing merchandise and supplies, keeping games and work areas clean, and carrying out routine maintenance and general store upkeep as directed by management. The work takes place in a noisy, fast-paced environment and may involve working days, nights, and/or weekends as required. Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred but not required. The position requires clear communication with Guests and Team Members, as well as moving around the facility, standing for long periods, working from an extension ladder, and lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members.
Must be able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
Must be able to work from an extension ladder.
Must be able to move about the facility and stand for long periods.
Must be able to read and write handwritten notes.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain games, simulators, amusement equipment, and other technical equipment in a timely manner.
Assist Guests with requests and questions, make recommendations, communicate wait times and relevant information, and provide a welcoming and positive experience.
Load and refill tickets in redemption games, taking care to secure ticket storage areas.
Keep the Midway games clean, unobstructed, and organized, and maintain ideal player conditions.
Stock, display, and secure merchandise; conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts when applicable; and check that necessary supplies are restocked.
Set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly game maintenance safely and efficiently as directed by management.
Assist with daily maintenance and organization of the tech room and storage areas, as well as general store maintenance as directed by management.
Bring work areas up to standard and discuss problem areas with the Manager.
Keep the immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives when appropriate.
Notify a Manager about Guests who appear unhappy and ensure departing Guests are satisfied and invited to return.
Assist other Team Members as needed and maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship.
