About The Position

Activate is taking entertainment into the future by combining technology and physical activity to create live-action gaming experiences. Customers enter a game experience and become players who actively and mentally complete challenges. Game Facilitators support customers throughout their visit and help deliver an excellent experience. The role involves constant movement and limited time spent sitting, with active participation and responsiveness in a fast-paced work environment. The position may be full-time or part-time.

Requirements

• Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to adapt to unforeseen situations calmly and efficiently.
• Energetic, friendly, outgoing, and able to command attention in a crowd.
• Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Willingness to work various shifts starting as early as 9 a.m. and ending as late as 1 a.m.; managers will work within the given availability.
• Some troubleshooting and technical ability applicable to a wide variety of equipment repair and maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Check customers in, take payments, and make reservations.
• Brief new groups before the start of the game.
• Monitor customers in the gaming area and provide explanations when necessary.
• Participate in active games with customers if needed to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Maintain rooms through cleaning, painting, and required maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and make minor repairs in the event of a malfunction.
