About The Position
Bloomingdale’s Fulfillment Professionals support store operations by fulfilling merchandise orders for in-store pickup or shipment to customers. They search for and pick merchandise from the selling floor and stock rooms, apply packing policies and techniques to ensure packages arrive in excellent condition, and help customers and colleagues as needed. The role calls for speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
- Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, distinguish colors, and climb ladders as needed.
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers while on the selling floor.
- Search for and pick merchandise from the selling floor and stock rooms for Pick Up in Store orders.
- Apply packing policies and techniques to ensure customers receive their packages in excellent condition.
- Participate in other support functions and assist in-store customers as needed.
