About The Position

Bloomingdale’s Fulfillment Professionals support store operations by fulfilling merchandise orders for in-store pickup or packaging and shipment to customers. The role calls for speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork while helping deliver a seamless customer experience. Associates may also assist customers and perform other support functions as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform tasks that may involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, color vision, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers while on the selling floor.
• Search for and pick merchandise from the selling floor and stock rooms for Pick Up in Store orders.
• Learn and apply packing policies and techniques so customers receive packages in excellent condition.
• Participate in other support functions and assist in-store customers as needed.
