About The Position

Bloomingdale’s Sales Professionals guide and inspire customers to make style a source of creative energy. They provide gracious service through fashion interest, styling talent, and product knowledge, building long-term client relationships both in store and online. They create a welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive customer experience through conversation and personal connection, actively circulate the sales floor, determine customer needs, explain Loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish. They also deliver operational excellence by using the fulfillment system, following merchandise-to-sell standards, and maintaining the sales floor and fitting rooms.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Practice open and continuous communication, keep others informed, and present information clearly and concisely.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
Ability to think creatively and strategically to satisfy customer needs.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Create an easy, seamless, and enjoyable in-store and online experience while building and cultivating customer relationships.
Drive sales with in-store and online clients by using technology proficiently.
Participate in the merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
Actively circulate the sales floor, determine customer needs, and share the benefits of Loyalty programs.
Support customers throughout the shopping experience, from start to finish.
Use the fulfillment system, follow merchandise-to-sell standards, and maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms.
