About The Position

Bloomingdale’s Sales Professionals guide and inspire customers to make style a source of creative energy. They provide gracious service, demonstrate an interest in fashion, styling ability, and product knowledge, and cultivate long-term customer relationships in store and online. Through welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive conversation, they create human connections and support customers throughout the shopping experience. The role also includes circulating the sales floor, determining customer needs, explaining loyalty programs, and delivering operational excellence through store fulfillment systems, merchandise-to-sell standards, and floor and fitting-room upkeep.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Interest in fashion, styling talent, product knowledge proficiency, and a passion for gracious customer service.

Responsibilities

Create an easy, seamless, and enjoyable in-store and online experience while building and cultivating customer relationships.
Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and becoming proficient with technology.
Participate in the merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
Actively circulate the sales floor, determine customer needs, and share the benefits of loyalty programs.
Support the customer’s shopping experience from start to finish.
Use store fulfillment systems and maintain merchandise-to-sell standards, the sales floor, and fitting rooms.
