Commission Sales Associate - Mens, Part Time - North Michigan
About The Position
Bloomingdale’s Sales Professionals guide and inspire customers to make style a source of creative energy. They provide gracious service through conversation, fashion interest, styling talent, and product knowledge, building long-term client relationships in store and online. They create a welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive customer experience, circulate the sales floor to identify customer needs, share the benefits of Loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from start to finish. They also deliver operational excellence by using fulfillment systems and meeting merchandise-to-sell standards while maintaining the sales floor and fitting rooms.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Practice open and continuous communication, keep others informed, and present information clearly and concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to satisfy customer needs.
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and to reach, crouch, kneel, and stoop as needed.
- Color vision.
- Ability to frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Create an easy, seamless, and enjoyable in-store and online experience while building and cultivating customer relationships.
- Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and becoming proficient with technology.
- Participate in the merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
- Actively circulate the sales floor, determine customer needs, and share the benefits of Loyalty programs.
- Support the customer shopping experience from start to finish.
- Use the fulfillment system, meet merchandise-to-sell standards, and maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms.
