This position supports Axess Family Services with daily operations by greeting and assisting clients and visitors, answering phones, and directing calls appropriately. The Front Office Assistant is responsible for ensuring all required intake, financial, and clinical forms are obtained at a client's first appointment, checking clients in, recording missed/cancelled appointments, collecting co-pays/deductibles, and interacting courteously with clients and visitors. The role also involves ensuring clinical information is released only upon proper authorization and maintaining current knowledge of applicable AFS policies and procedures, as well as complying with COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements. Other duties may be assigned.
