About The Position
Healthtrax is seeking a Part Time service and fitness sales professional to join their team. This role involves earning commission on new member sales, achieving personal sales goals, and assisting members during front service desk shifts to foster member retention. The work is described as not always easy but worthwhile. The ideal candidate is a believer in fitness for life, honest, authentic, a good listener, likable, and relates well with others. They should have a keen sense of personal pride in exceeding goals and previous experience in retail sales, ideally within the fitness, health, and wellness industry. The company has been providing fitness and wellness solutions since 1979 and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented, customer-driven environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales
- Previous experience ideally within the fitness, health and wellness industry
- Believer in fitness for life
- Honest and authentic
- Natural ability to be a good listener
- Likable and relates well with others
- Keen sense of personal pride in exceeding goals

- Varied work schedule that includes some evenings; weekends and a few week day shifts on a part time basis that can grow into a career
Responsibilities
- Handing out guest passes
- Talking up Center activities
- Asking for referrals for lead generation
- Booking and confirming appointments by phone or internet
- Conducting center tours
- Presenting rates
- Asking for the sale
- Uncovering concerns
- Scheduling timely follow up with those who have not yet become a new member
