About The Position

Camp Berryessa is hiring an energetic, fitness-passionate, and dependable associate for its evening team. This hands-on role combines front desk and member support, membership sales and lead follow-up, participation in group workouts, facility cleaning and closing duties, and marketing and social media support. The associate is expected to actively participate in workouts, assist with exercise demonstrations under the lead trainer's direction, support membership growth, and help maintain a clean, welcoming fitness facility.

Requirements

• Available for the entire 4:30 PM–8:30 PM shift on weekdays.
• Actively involved in fitness and genuinely passionate about working out and maintaining an active lifestyle.
• Comfortable physically participating in workouts and demonstrating exercises in front of groups.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls and following up with prospective members.
• Willing and able to perform daily cleaning duties, including bathroom cleaning.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sales, customer service, or fitness experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests and check members into classes.
• Answer member questions, build relationships, and foster a welcoming, motivating atmosphere.
• Handle daily front desk operations and administrative tasks.
• Make outbound calls and send follow-up texts to prospective members.
• Schedule introductory workouts and appointments.
• Explain membership options, promotions, and fitness programs.
• Help convert leads and trial participants into paying members.
• Engage with members to support retention and referrals.
• Participate in group workouts and demonstrate exercises alongside the lead trainer.
• Demonstrate proper exercise movements and modifications under the trainer's direction.
• Bring energy, enthusiasm, and motivation to classes.
• Assist with workout equipment setup, transitions, and breakdown.
• Perform daily cleaning duties, including cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, workout floors, common areas, equipment, and high-touch surfaces.
• Empty trash bins, restock bathroom supplies, and organize and store equipment.
• Complete end-of-day cleaning and closing checklists.
• Capture workout videos, photos, and member engagement content.
• Assist with social media content creation, promotions, community events, and marketing initiatives.
